Regal Carpentry operates a comprehensive training programme that is recognised by Construction Skills with agreed training and development plans in place.
Training is the responsibility of our Training Manager and the main areas of training are in the following categories:

All lifting plans, method statements and associated risk assessments are carried out in house by our training CPCS Appointed Persons as part of the comprehensive service provided by Regal Carpentry.
CSCS
Regal Carpentry is fully supportive of the CSCS Scheme (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) and shows that the holder is considered to be competent at his or her job, lists any relevant certificate / qualifications and also shows that the holder has passed a Health and Safety test.
Regal Carpentry operatives are registered on the scheme and have regular updates on Health and Safety either via Toolbox Talks or further training courses.
All new operatives are required to register on the scheme and complete the Health and Safety test within two months of joining the company.
UK Timber Frame Association
Regal Carpentry have committed to the UKTFA training scheme and all operatives are currently registered and working towards achieving a Bronze, Silver or Gold Award by the end of 2010.
The UKTFA has developed this Open Learning Training and Accreditation Scheme for Timber Frame Erectors that leads to a full UKTFA / City & Guilds Accreditation and is recognised by all the leading Manufacturers in the industry. It covers all aspects of timber frame construction and is especially geared towards health and safety.
